Being part of the 1st edition of Cydroids released, this variety has the capability of raiding properties within range, and extracting loose ether.

The Howler Cydroid also has the ability to be fused with a Slate jewel in order to harvest Neodymium Occurrence Units (OUs), or an Zircon jewel to harvest Zirconium Occurrence Units (OUs).
